What this is

A directory of companies with a working address in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, shown on a map, with live job listings read from the companies' own hiring systems. Of the 598 company records on the map today, 366 come from third party business data enrichment, 124 from the company's own website, 37 from OpenStreetMap and 8 from another primary source. 63 have no source recorded against them. Every row carries a pin precision marker, shown on its listing, and the 130 rows we have confirmed against a primary source are marked Source checked. It is not a copy of any government register.

Accuracy, and what to do when we are wrong

Read the precision marker on a listing, and whether it is marked Source checked, before relying on it. An area level pin means we know the neighbourhood, not the building. A revenue figure is a third party estimate, not a filed or audited number, and the company has not confirmed it. We do not publish company status and we do not warrant that any listed company is trading, solvent, or reachable at the address shown.

We are the publisher of everything here, so mistakes are ours to fix. If your company is listed and something is wrong, or you want the listing changed or removed, write to connect@mask360.agency. We act within seven days. There is no form to fight through and no fee. This is the fastest route and we would much rather have it than a lawyer's letter.

Company names and marks belong to the companies. They are used here only to identify the business being described, which is nominative use. A listing is not an endorsement, an affiliation, or an official page, and every listing says so.

Jobs

Job listings are read from the companies' own careers systems and refreshed regularly. Applying always sends you to the employer's own page, and we are not a party to your application. We do not take a fee from candidates for anything. We are not a recruiter and we do not hold candidate records: there is no candidate database in this product, by design. A role that has closed may briefly still appear, and the employer's page is always the truth.

Data you buy

A purchased export is licensed to you and to your organisation, for your own commercial use, in perpetuity for the file you bought. You may load it into your systems, analyse it, and build on it. You may not resell the file as a directory, republish it as a competing listing product, or redistribute it as a standalone dataset.

Two honest carve outs. First, that restriction covers the rows we compiled and checked, not facts as such: a company's name and address are facts and no one owns them. Second, some location data derives from OpenStreetMap, which is licensed under the Open Database Licence 1.0, and that licence does not allow us to impose extra restrictions on it. To the extent any part of an export derives from OpenStreetMap, your rights in that part come from the ODbL and nothing above cuts them down. Attribution to OpenStreetMap contributors travels with the file and must stay with it.

Data you send

Corrections, claims and job posts are published once we accept them, so do not send anything confidential. Do not send anyone else's personal information. Salary rows are published only as anonymous aggregates, under the rules set out on the salary page and in the privacy policy.

Automated access

Browse normally and you are welcome. Automated bulk collection of the listings is not permitted, because it is the product. Bulk access is available as a paid export, and it is cheaper than building a scraper.

Advertising and payment

Prices are shown on the advertising page and are final: no tax is added and none is collected, because Mask Management is not registered under GST. Payment is by UPI. Every booking is reviewed by a person before it runs, and anything we cannot run is refunded in full. Cancellation and refund terms are on the refunds page and form part of these terms.

What we do not promise

The service is provided as it is. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, and we do not guarantee that a listing, a job or an estimate is correct, though we correct anything you show us is wrong. Nothing here is legal, financial, career or investment advice, and a decision about where to work or where to live is yours.

Liability

Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. We do not exclude liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.

Where a dispute goes

These terms are governed by Indian law. We would ordinarily bring a dispute in the courts at Mumbai. This does not take away your right, as a consumer under section 34(2)(d) of the Consumer Protection Act 2019, to file where you live or work. Please write to the grievance officer below first: almost everything is solved by an email.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes. A change never applies backwards to something you already bought.

Who runs this

The Bombay Data Company is a service of Mask Management, a sole proprietorship of Kaavish Ramchandani. Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The full correspondence address is on every invoice and is sent on request to the email above.

Mask Management is not registered under GST. Turnover is below the threshold in section 22 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act 2017, so no tax is charged on anything sold here, no tax is collected, and no tax invoice is issued. You get a plain numbered invoice. If you need a PAN for tax deducted at source, ask and we send it.

Write to that address about anything on this site: a wrong listing, a refund, an advertisement, your own data, or a complaint about how we handled something. Every complaint is acknowledged within forty eight hours and resolved within one month. If a complaint needs longer we say so, in writing, before the month is up, and tell you why.

This satisfies rule 5(9) of the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules 2011 and rules 4(3), 4(5) and 4(6) of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020.
